Amy Walker | Maternity | By Brittany and Michelle

If you haven’t noticed by now, we have been jumping on every opportunity to put our creativity to good use. It’s not everyday a pregnant lady is openly willing to basically get naked, and let you shower her with flowers on a beach, but these are the kinds of visions we often have for shoots. We LOVE when our visions come to life, and this shoot in particular has been one we’ve been itching to put together. Of course Amy would have looked stunning no matter what the setting, but we really feel these images truly embody pregnancy. Aside from the ridiculous cravings, lack of sleep, aches, pains, and mostly just not feeling like yourself for nine months… Pregnancy really is beautiful, and completely mind boggling. I mean how cool is it that we can grow little humans? Even though this is something that has been happening since the beginning of time, I still can’t wrap my head around how amazing it is. In a few short months, Amy and Wayne will welcome a precious little baby boy, and I will still be mind blown even though we all knew it was coming.

This shoot wouldn’t have happened if it wasn’t for our amazing friend Trinity Young… She provided and arranged all of the beautiful flowers for this shoot. We love her, and it seems as if we are slowly creeping her incredible work into many of our sessions. (I don’t hate it).

Also, thanks to Wayne for being a champ… sucking up the fact that there were a disgusting amount of flies attacking him while trying to smile. Way to take one for the team, and making your baby momma a happy woman! You deserved a metal after putting up with our crazy selves that day, we really do take shoots to the next level sometimes. (side note: the overhead images I shot of Amy laying down were taken from Wayne’s shoulders… Those photos may see the internet someday, but not today… Maybe a behind the scenes post in the future).

xo.
