So happy to finally show another beautiful summer wedding. Alicia and Kyle were at the end of a very busy summer with multiple double header weekends in a row and this was one of them. I woke up this Saturday morning feeling tired and achy and praying to God that I can nail out another great one! I have to say it really didn’t take long for me to find my groove with these guys, once the coffee and adrenaline kicked in I was back in the game.
Alicia and Kyle were high school sweethearts which is oh so sweet in itself, meeting, loving and growing up with that one person you met back when you were just a kid is pretty darn special. They had an easy comfortable love and were a joy to photograph, Kyle was an ole pro once we got him warmed up from the engagement session. Which is totally why I love when couples opt to get in front of the camera before the big day! It makes everything so much more at ease and comfortable for the bride and groom as well as myself.
As I am preparing my work for the blog I have been asking myself what stood out most about each wedding, and I have to say for this one it was the sheer beauty of this bride, Alicia was certainly a magazine worthy bride and of course the way Kyle looked at her ( Ya those New Waterford girls tho). I also loved that I was literally so close to home, as much as I have been loving travelling all over this summer the timing was perfect on this one to be in my hometown.
